NEPAL’S PEACE ZONE AND POLITICAL DEADLOCK

This book explores the evolution of Nepal’s “Zone of Peace” proposal as a strategy for neutrality and sovereignty amid regional power dynamics, particularly with India and China. It examines the proposal’s political stagnation following the 1990 fall of the monarchy, analyzing how internal political deadlock and external challenges have prevented its implementation, and suggests a new approach for the future.
